Welcome
Welcome to Metaneva,

A tool to analyze and evaluate single unit recordings and Reaction Times for both rat and monkey experiments.

Metaneva attempts to provide the cognitive sciences with a paradigm-based analysis using experimental similarity to confirm, clarify and refine current visions on neural mechanism and functional connectivity. We rely on a community driven approach promoting interoperability and data exchange.

Presently, we currently are under private alpha, a beta release is expected in August 2008.
Latest Updates
2008-06-15 Reaction Times.

It now is possible to upload reaction time data in the database. Both relative data as absolute reaction times.

2008-06-15 Spike rates.

It is possible to upload spike rates data in the database (no raw data however). Both relative data as absolute spike rates.

2008-06-01 List of Paradigms.

The following paradigms can be encoded:

  • SDT (simple decision tasks)

2008-05-21 Additional Tables.

We added three additional tables (circumstances, environment, functionality) in the DB.
This enhances flexibility and allows to encode for both rats and monkeys. All three tables use a specific ontology.

2008-05-13 Development of Reports.

We are currently developing the queries used for Bias Reports. These Bias Reports will lead to the refinement of conditional set-ups and functional attributions.

2008-05-12 Testing the Ontology.

We are currently uploading data and hence testing the upload forms. This includes thorough tests for the ontology and the DB flexibility. This will lead to the first test runs of the DB, with a focus on decision processing within monkey experiments.

2008-04-14 Upload Forms

The developers are currently running tests for the forms used to upload data. Sample data will be available soon.

2008-03-29 Ontology

We are moving towards an integration and synchonization of our ontology with recent initiatives in the cognitive sciences.
